『ニッポンには対話がない―学びとコミュニケーションの再生』 北川達夫×平田オリザ を読んだ！
 出版された当初（2008年の春頃?）に買って積んだままだったが、ようやく読了。 「対話」の重要性を論じながら教育と社会の再生を考えていく本。 対話力とはまさに「生きる力」のことで、これからの変化と多様性の時代 を行きぬくための必須のスキルである。 対談形式で書かれていて読みやすい上に、 とても大事なことがわかりやすくまとめられており、すんなり理解できる。 まさにこの本で行われていることこそ、「対話」である。 以下、カンタンなまとめ。 --- 「対話力」は、これから時代において「生きる力」そのものである。 「対話(dialogue)」とは、他者との異なる価値観をすり合わせる行為である。 単なる楽しいおしゃべり（会話:conversation）とは違い、 自分の見解を示し、相手の見解を聴き、お互いが変化しながら その前向きな妥協点を見出していくプロセスを指す。 どんなに大切で美しいメッセージを含んだ表現でも、 対話のプロセスがなければ人を説得する力は生まれない。 これからの時代は、言語、文化、宗教、伝統、性別、世代、立場など、 あらゆる「違い」が混在した多様な人々が共生しなければならない時代だ。 こうした時代でコミュニケーションをとっていくためには、 「相手の気持ちはわからない」というエンパシーの発想を持ち、 他者との対話を重ね、他者との価値観をすり合わせながら、 自分の個性を発見していくことが重要である。 対話の場をつくるためには、イヤならいつでも離脱出来て、 好きな時だけ参加出来るような、人々がゆるやかにつながり合う 多様なコミュニティのネットワークをつくることが必要である。 これからの日本の教育は、子ども達への対話の場の提供と、 対話力（＝生きる力）の養成を積極的に担っていく必要がある。 ｜コメント(6) ｜トラックバック(0)｜教育・学習｜書評｜
